About Guruji
A Divine Journey: The Advent of a Mahaswamiji“Shri Jadeya Shantlingeshwara Mahaswamiji” of Samadhan is a great saint, sublime genius, Discoverer of Truth and an oracle who has descended to mitigate the troubles of the worldly people. He is a great human who has emerged to kindle dark souls. Their solemn silence is depicted as a profound symbol of their wisdom, and their divine inspiration is said to bring comfort to those in need. The followers of Mahaswamiji hold a deep reverence for their spiritual presence and the impact they have on others.
Early Echoes of a Saint: The Childhood of Kotturu SwamyOn 23 March, 1942, his Holiness was born to the noble couple- Smt. Channaveeramma and Shri Siddabasavayya of Jade, a village near the banks of Varada river of Sorab-Taluka, in the Sahyadri region of Shivamogga District. He was christened there as “Kotturuswamy”. There were several incidents during his childhood predicting that he would grow to be a spiritual icon. When he was a two-year toddler, his mother asked all the children to play with him before leaving to attend the household work. But all the young kids played within themselves. No kid paid attention towards this child. Kotturuswamy was attracted towards a herd of monkeys playing in front of Choudeshwari deity in the backyard of the house. He swiftly moved there. Among such a herd of monkeys, two mother monkeys held the hand of the child and brought it inside the group. The child was surrounded by monkeys. All of them played with the child. No one noticed such incident that lasted for a long time. All the members of family and neighbors searched for the child, but in vain. Shri Veerabasanna of adjoining Virakta Math observed this curious spectacle when he came to fetch water from the well. He called the elder sister of the child and told about the presence of the child near the deity. Upon reaching the spot, the elder sister noticed the child playing joy fully in the company of monkeys. It was a difficult task for all the people gathered over there to separate the child from the company of monkeys. In such a way, the child endeared itself to all the animals from the state of infancy, and enjoyed their compassion and kindness as he grew.As the child born into an ideal family environment characterized by rich tradition, culture, noble thoughts, and purity of soul. This upbringing helped the child to inherit values and virtues which were deeply ingrained within the family, shaping his character and outlook on life from an early age. Such an environment laid a strong foundation for the child's moral and spiritual development, nurturing the child in ways that foster compassion, integrity, and a sense of purpose. After elementary education in the native village, Swamiji pursued his further studies in Veda, Agama, Astrology and Sanskrit at Haveri, Hubballi and Shivayog Mandir. He specialized in Ayurveda, the traditional legacy of the family.
About Guruji
From Solitude to Silence: The Spiritual Ascent of a Mouna TapasviBeing enchanted profusely by spiritualism during his youth, his holiness Kotturuswamiji was always excelling in the worship of Lord Shiva. Frequently, he preferred to indulge absolutely in meditation in splendid isolation at different places. To fortify his spiritual pursuit, he preferred to pursue spiritual attainment by meditating deeply in the Sahyadri region, in the natural habitat of villages such as Goggihalli, Shivayog Mandir, Megundi Kolla, Bhimashankar, Ulavi, Kaneri and Yediyur among other places. In the natural course, he endeared himself to God. At Shiva temple, Aihole he attained unique powers emanating from spirituality and union with God. From that day his holiness developed communion with God, he embraced the philosophical concept; 'Silence is God' and practiced absolute silence (mouna) for over 45 years and came to be revered as “Mouna Tapasvi”.Many renowned Gurus (spiritual leaders) and Jagadgurus recognized this extraordinary spiritual personality and decided to dedicate the services of this selfless Yogi of unfeigned modesty to the society.
The Radiant Path of the MahaswamigaluIn 1972, he was conferred the name “Niranjana Pranav Swaroopa Jadeya Shantalingeshwara Mahaswamigalu” and is the head of mutts at Dudhani and Nimbal."Jadeya Shantlingeshwar Mahaswamiji" of Samadhan not only excelled in spiritual pursuits but also dedicated himself to social work, reaching remarkable heights in both realms. His compassionate nature led him to address the concerns of his devotees, acting as an oracle to provide comfort and solutions to their grievances. Countless devotees found solace and renewed vigor through their connection with him. Despite possessing profound divine powers, he humbly refrained from overtly displaying miracles. Instead, his teachings emphasized the importance of absolute faith, suggesting that through unwavering belief in him, devotees could experience mystical powers capable of resolving the challenges they faced in their lives. This emphasis on faith underscores the profound spiritual bond between the Guru and devotees, leading to transformative experiences and resolutions to their problems.
About Guruji
Divine Grace and Unwavering Faith: Miracles in a Devotee's LifeSaving a drowning Devotee: A devotee from distant Rajasthan came under the influence of Guruji and received blessings to become the disciple.Every year during Shravana month, the disciple reached Dudhani and served Guruji for a week. Guruji always preached to him that one can achieve what one desired by total devotion to the cause and that trust in Guru would find redressals for all the problems. The disciple decided to test the authenticity of tenet. Despite not knowing swimming, he jumped into the well in the evening on the assumption that his Guru would protect him. Water in the well was very deep; he did not know how to swim and started drowning. His condition became precarious within five minutes. He was not conscious of the outside world. The whole world grew dark for him. He felt that he was doomed. Within a fraction of second the memories of his life and the people he was acquainted with came back to him in flashes. Finally, he closed his eyes and started praying his Guru intensely while drowning. By the time he opened his eyes, he found himself on the side of the well. From there, he straight away went to meet his Guru at Dudhani math and bowed down to touch the feet of his Guru. He confessed to Guruji that he erred egregiously; in case Guruji were not to come to his rescue, he would not have survived to reach there and that Guruji rushed to his rescue when he was drowning and brought him to the bank of the well.He also proclaimed that he would serve his Guru for life and implored Guruji to forgive him. His Holiness pacified and blessed him by saying that the Guru protects even those cursed by God, and advised that the trust in Guru favors the welfare of the disciple and there was no cause for being afraid. It is a strong belief of the entire community of Gurubandhus that His Holiness who always embraces the concerns of disciples would always protect them.Restoring a Child's Eyesight: At Gadag town, the only daughter of a rich devotee of His Holiness, while playing shuttle cock was hurt in her eye affecting her eyesight badly. The doctor who examined the girl told that the blood inside the injured eye was clotted and that he would prescribe medicines for the removal of blood clots. The doctor also opined that the removal of blood clot might not take place; in case it was to happen, it would take a week or even a month. He also opined that the sight of the girl might not be restored. Mother of the girl was deeply grieved due to this incident. At the same time, Guruji was staying at his native place, Jade and was engaged in meditation (Shivapooja). Guruji realized the incident through telepathy; and after meditation he made telephone call about his knowledge of the incident. He went to Gadag and told the grieving mother that there was no cause for anxiety as Lord Shiva would protect her daughter. Guruji further assured his devotee that in case her daughter's eye was not cured, he would donate his own eyes to ensure the restoration of her sight. Mother of the child expressed her anxiety that the eyesight of her daughter should be restored, and it was equally important that the eyes of her Guru should also be fine. The very next day, the girl started seeing in a blurred way. Her vision was restored over period of a month. Guruji, who was possessed with divine power and knowledge of Ayurveda, protected the eyes of the child.Rescuing a Kidnapped Child: Once the child of a famous doctor at Solapur was kidnapped by a gang in a mysterious way. At the same time, Shri Ashok Kamthe, a renowned police officer, who later laid down his life in the Mumbai terrorist attack, was the superintendent of police at Solapur. He assured the parents that the police would find the missing child and trace and restore the child within 24 hours. It was breaking news in the local news media. The kidnappers demanded Rs.50 lakhs in ransom. The parents were ardent devotes of Guruji. They surrendered to Guruji, who pacified them by giving assurance as under; “By the grace of God, your son is sure to be found; no harm can be done to him; and I am with you”. The kidnappers who carried the child in Tata Sumo travelled to several areas. The vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident when they were near Zalaki on Solapur-Vijayapura route. Due to the accident, all the people travelling in the vehicle got injured and fell down on the road. Likewise, the child also fell at a distance in an agricultural land. When the driver was investigated, he revealed that while he was driving the vehicle, he noticed a person looking like a Sikh guru in white clothing with a turban on the head obstructing the vehicle on the road frequently. He was not in a position to drive at a high speed due the frequent obstruction. Therefore, they could not proceed to a long distance. Thereafter, the child gave his version and stated that during the accident he was carried comfortably from the car to the field and Shambho Ajja was with him. Shambho Ajja carried him in his hands when he fell down from the vehicle. It is thus clear that Guruji always redresses the grievances and protects the devotees having unwavering faith in him alone.Healing a Boy's Heart: A humble servant and an ardent devotee of Guruji, who was a teacher by profession at Kalaburagi was advised by a Doctor in Basaveshwara hospital that his only son had heart problem and that he should undergo bypass surgery.Guruji who came to know of the matter visited the hospital and placed his foot on the forehead of young man and applied Bhasma and further assured that no harm could happen to the young man and there was no cause for anxiety. Guruji also gave him a booklet entitled “Gurukaruna Trividhi” and advised him to recite it every day and also blow the conch three times. From that day, it became a fixed routine for him. Despite such development, a team of doctors advised the teacher to take his son to Jayadeva Hospital, Bengaluru for treatment. The poor teacher unwillingly went to Bangalore after borrowing lakhs of rupees. The team of doctors there examined the medical report of the boy and told the teacher bluntly that there was already a delay in bringing the patient and he should get ready for operation. But father of the boy informed Guruji about the matter and sought his permission. Guruji once again affirmed that there was no need for the operation, and his son had no problem whatsoever and he should not worry. All the doctors in Jayadeva hospital were surprised at the tough stance of Guruji. Depending only on medicines, the boy recovered completely and has since remained hale and hearty. The boy was revived merely by the touch of the feet of Guruji. He demonstrated that he could rescue the devotees from the clutches of death. The community of devotees have realized that the transformation of mind is a greater miracle than a routine miracle.
Though few are documented, countless devotees have experienced miracles at every difficult step of life,
where the Divine's grace quietly guides them through trials unseen. These moments, though often unspoken,
are felt deeply within the soul, transforming every challenge into a pathway of faith.

Guruji during the fair commanded that if at all the villagers were determined to slaughter anyone, he should be the first to get slaughtered. The villagers were astonished by such firm command of Guruji. He told the villagers that kindness is the foundation of every religion and asked about justification of sparing dogs and foxes while targeting humble animals.Guruji also convincingly advised that man had resorted to such violent practice for his convenience. He also advised that the villagers should remain humble and purify their souls so that they can be dear to the Almighty. Guruji could successfully transform the minds of villagers and bore witness to the incident of historic significance. Since then, there has never been slaughter of any animal at Nimbal and all the villagers have pursued a virtuous path.Guruji's recent efforts in Nimbal to empower and unite women have resulted in remarkable transformations within the village.
